Welcome to my homepage. I am the composer of the Lucy ballet, and several string orchestra, chamber, and symphonic works. Have a look around, learn a little about me and enjoy your visit.

Music is a way of looking at the world and there is rhythm in everything we do. I use notes as others use words to convey my thoughts, ideas, and beliefs.

I have been writing music since I was 16 and I love to experiment with the unique language of music and all of its possibilities. It’s a language that speaks to everyone without the need of a translator and it brings joy to our hearts.

I am in the process of re-establishing my website and have setup my own publishing business, Akerwis Music, which will feature additional works by me and will be available through JWPepper.com.
